This morning I received a phone call from a new dog owner who after long concideration decided to return her new pup to the breeder. To me this was a very brave and honest lady who made the right decision for her and her children. Within a couple of days the reality of a pup in the house had disrupted the family, the children, their finances and their home. She had obviously purchased the dog from a good breeder who was prepared to take the pup back. Not all breeders are so concerned about the welfare of their puppies or their owners!
